As a long-time assistant editor at Posh Publishing, Jane Grant’s (Charisma Carpenter, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) professional track is as stalled as her personal one. It doesn’t really help her morale that she works with an ex-boyfriend (the irritating kind who gets on with his life) who’s about to marry the “woman of his dreams.” Nor is she thrilled to have to oversee the sleazy autobiography of C-level celebrity Natasha Nutley (Holly Marie Combs, Charmed)—the very same halter-topped mantrap who stole Jane’s prom date back in high school. If all this weren’t humiliating enough, Jane’s just received an invitation to her younger cousin’s lavish wedding, and it’s engraved with two of the most dreadful words a perpetually available single can encounter: “plus guest.”
