Soon after their arrival on base, though, Chris suddenly grows cold and distant. He suffers from claustrophobia, he says, and has a hard time with his assignment on a submarine. To cope he goes out running every night. Meanwhile, the base is plagued by a peeper, and Jennifer is terrified. When a woman on base is actually raped, Jennifer’s fear increases.
